Chesapeake Homes - NC Division To Become An ENERGY STAR® BUILDER PARTNER
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) October 1, 2007 -- Chesapeake Homes - NC Division today announced that they are an ENERGY STAR® BUILDER PARTNER. The Virginia-based company, which expanded to the Triangle market back in June, will build ENERGY STAR® qualified single-family homes in Wakefield Development Company's Holly Springs master-planned community, 12 Oaks, and will begin construction later this year on townhomes in the developer's Renaissance Park community in southeast Raleigh.
Designed to use 20 percent less energy, Chesapeake Homes will achieve energy savings through innovative building technologies. This will result in concrete homeowner benefits such as substantially lower utility bills, including a five percent discount from Progress Energy, protection against cold, heat, drafts, moisture, pollution, and noise and increased value on the home when it comes time to sell.
"Since entering this market less than four months ago, we are excited to offer our customers more energy-efficient options," said Paul Luck, North Carolina Division Manager for Chesapeake Homes. "We are proud of what we have accomplished in such a short amount of time and look forward to providing durable, comfortable and environmentally-responsible homes at a great value."
